South Australian alt-country artist Matt Ward presents his latest EP, "The Way That I Was Meant To Be," recorded live with his world class band The Rising Sons and special guest, critically acclaimed singer Taasha Coates. The centerpiece is the title track, a heartfelt exploration of self-acknowledgment, where Matt's vocals shine as he sings, 'Like the weeds that keep growing on the barest of earth / Like the seeds that get going only once they’ve been burnt.' The EP captures Ward's live, energetic country rock sound, reflecting Matt's true artistic self.
